Calibre ereader gets AI TTS voices

The free desktop software Calibre has just newly implemented the Piper AI-trained TTS voices in its eBook Viewer. These are offline AI voices that read text, and which work in real-time even on old hardware without a dedicated graphics-card. The 30-something Northern England male (UK) voice I find moderately listenable on my tablet, though there is unfortunately no control-slider for lengthening pauses between sentences or paragraphs. Speed is the only control-slider, a big drawback of the Piper voices. Windows 10 or higher is required.
